Portugal Telecom, SGPS S.A. (“PT”) informs that Norges Bank now holds more than 5% of the voting rights corresponding to the share capital of PT.
Such new holding resulted from the acquisition, on 5 July 2010, on regulated market, of a total of 2,495,868 PT shares.
Additionally, PT was informed that, as a result of the above mentioned transaction, a holding of 46,502,945 ordinary shares representing 5.19% of PT’s share capital and corresponding voting rights is now attributed to Norges Bank.
