Junior is a hip-hop band similar to the northern band Dealema, specially when a singer joins on stage to soften the vocal tension. The instruments are subtle and have an excellent performance and presence on stage considering that the band is still in the beginning. The enthusiastic reception by their fans led to a “natural victory”. “This award goes to all our friends, family and acquaintances that have supported us in this adventure”, they say with the prize in their hands.
With great adrenaline they highlighted that “this initiative showed that there are many good music projects in Portugal and we must congratulate TMN for the excellent organisation of the Garage Sessions”.
Filipa Nascimento, Marketing Manager at TMN, composed the jury and said that it was a final decision “but there could only be one winning band”. She then added “I hope Júnior keep showing dedication and effort and may this prize be the launch pad to an excellent career in music”.
The other bands present were You Should Go Ahead, The Blue Orange and The Legends. Although they did not win they showed that they have a promising future ahead. The evening ended with the performance of Souls of Fire, Fonzie and EZ Special.
