TMN processed 5,500 million calls after the Portugal x England game
During the hour after the game that assured the presence of the Portuguese National Team in the World Cup Semi-Finals, 5,500 million calls from the TMN network were processed, 3,200 million SMS and 5,800 MMS.
In the first fifteen minutes (18:45 to 19:00), 2,400 million calls were processed and 1,200 million SMS.
As soon as the game finished there was an increase of over 400% in voice calls processed by TMN and 200% in SMS, thus reflecting the intensity and emotion that the Portuguese lived as they watched this game and the effort of the 12th player in sharing the victory.
