The eighth gala of the Leitor PC Guia awards took place and for the third consecutive year the PT Group won a prize. The readers voted SAPO as the best ISP for 2006, a motive of pride for the whole team.

“This award is dedicated to all our clients and all the teams, within the company, that contribute daily for this success”, explains Abílio Martins Director of PT.Com to SAPO.
As the award is in relation to 2005, the new SAPO Director congratulated those who comprised the board in 2005, namely José Carlos Baldino and Manuel Rosa da Silva.
Paulo Hipólito, product manager for SAPO and Tiago Silva Lopes, manager for client management at PT.Com, were also there to receive the award.
According to Paulo Hipólito “the importance of this award is both for the group which wins the award for the third time in a row and for SAPO that works daily to improve the service rendered to its clients. And as this service is the result of the daily achievements of our team, I hope that it will be the first of many to come”, he underlines.

Tiago Silva Lopes says that this award “proves that we are on the right track with the Smart Project, and helps us to increasingly understand and satisfy the client”.
Tiago Silva Lopes is also responsible for the Smart Project, one of PT’s great ventures for 2006 as pertains quality of ADSL service. It is a project with various initiatives and the aim is to continuously improve the ADSL service rendered. This prize has confirmed that quality is awarded.
The ceremony took place at Budda Bar, in Lisbon, and was presented by comedian Nilton, who added a touch of humour to each award. To the SAPO award he commented: “This is the victory of Batráquio”.
“SAPO is market leader and we are extremely happy for having the best in the PT Group. The recognition of the Group’s bet on broadband is a motive of pride for us and an incentive to carry on with our work”, concludes Abílio Martins.
