Tickets via SMS in all Lusomundo theatres

The m-ticket, an innovative solution developed by Lusomundo and TMN which allows one to directly enter a movie theatre without passing by the ticket office, now arrives at all Lusomundo theatres, from the North to the South of the country
The m-ticket, a pioneer Project launched exclusively by Lusomundo and TMN in June 2006 in four movie theatres, is now available at the 196 Lusomundo theatres and allows clients to go in directly to the theatre without having to pass by the ticket office.
This service is based on a new technology which allows TMN and Lusomundo clients to purchase cinema tickets, via SMS, making it unnecessary for clients to pick-up their tickets at the ticket office before the movie.
The use of this service is very simple:
1 – The client purchases an m-ticket at the online ticket office (www.lusomundo.pt) or at Lusomundo’s 707 CINEMA call centre (707 246 362). The client is asked for the number and brand of mobile telephone to which they wish to receive their thickets.
2 – Once the purchase has been completed, the m-ticket is immediately received via SMS on the mobile telephone which was indicated.
3 – Upon arrival at the cinema, the client should go to the exclusive TMN entrance, open the SMS with the ticket, validate it in the m-ticket readers, and enter directly into the movie theatre.
The m-ticket, which in the summer of 2006, distinguished TMN and Lusomundo for their efforts in technological innovation, brings various advantages to their clients: from avoiding the trip to the ticket office, being able to buy the ticket at the last minute on the way to see a film which is almost selling out, or even the possibility of surprising friends and family with the offering of a ticket via SMS, no matter where you are.
Therefore, TMN and Lusomundo challenge their clients to purchase an m-ticket as of now available at all Lusomundo theatres.
