UZO once again surprises those who return to Portugal for their long awaited holidays and will have welcoming teams at the two main road borders in Portugal: Vilar Formoso and Quintanilha. The initiative will run from the 29th of July to the 5th of August
After having welcomed emigrants last Christmas, UZO once again promotes a welcoming action, between the 29th of July and the 5th of August, to those who return to Portugal. In an initiative aimed at welcoming and receiving those who live outside of Portugal and which return to celebrate the Portuguese summer with their family, UZO will have welcoming teams at the two main road boarders in the country, Vilar Formoso and Quintanilha.
UZO prepared adequate structures to mark their presence and welcoming tens where divers could relax from their tiring journey. This actions runs at the time when the safety forces, also present at the borders, make the most of the situation to bring awareness to the people on driving safely to their destination.
In this action, UZO will distribute cards with a balance of 2,5 euros so that people can contact their friends and family. The O “Jornal de Notícias” and “O Jogo” associated themselves to this action and will daily distribute approximately 1000 newspapers to that the emigrants can get to know the headlines in Portugal.
