TMN launches dimo – Mobile Directory

The three mobile operators, Optimus, TMN and Vodafone, launched dimo, a mobile directory set on a common platform which allows to search and access, through the mobile telephone, various sites and email accounts and numerous contents such as ring tones, images, games, news and many others
In response to two strong mobile telecommunication market tendencies – the growth in the penetration rate of colour mobile telephones and the offer of mobile contents - Optimus, TMN and Vodafone launched Dimo. It is a multi-operator mobile directory which allows one to, through Dimo, to search and access various sites, chats, email accounts, news and also, consult and download different contents such as ring tones, music, images and games.
In terms of navigation, focus is given to the possibility of accessing an exclusive list of sites, from the last ten sites launched in each month and the most visited sites, at each moment. Presently, there are more than 60 mobile sites available where we highlight names such as: Google, Yahoo, MSN, eBay, Jornal de Negócios, RTP, Diário Digital, WWE – World Wrestling Entertainment, Gameloft and Codemasters.
To access dimo, you need to use a mobile telephone which is compatible with WAP and continue with the use of one of the following paths: follow the link on the portal of the mobile operator – Optimus Zone, TMN i9 or Vodafone live! –, send an SMS with the text dimo to the number 3000 or dial the address http://wap.dimo.pt/ on the mobile telephone browser.
