The first interview by the Chairman of PT after the conclusion of the Takeover was directed at PT Group co-operators. Henrique Granadeiro made a balance of the 13 months of the Takeover, listed the challenges and explained the outlines of the spin-off of PT Multimedia and the bet in international markets. During a one and a half-hour speech, the PT Chairman, showed his determination in obtaining a regulating framework identical to that authorised for Sonaecom within the scope of its project

The Takeover delayed projects, it was time consuming and hampered some opportunities. But now it’s time to look ahead and render concrete the challenges that Portugal Telecom has for the future.
On the first Monday following the decision of the Shareholder General Meeting, the Chairman of Portugal Telecom spoke to éPT! On the future of businesses and his conviction on how the Group is now “stronger and more united”. For half an hour, the main issues on the PT agenda after the Takeover were analysed in detail by Henrique Granadeiro who expressed the conviction that he follows:
“we have to do better or differently”.
