Mundo Mix PT dedicates this third edition of 2007 to fashion and enhances the works of the students of Design and Fashion o the University of Architecture of the Technical Faculty of Lisbon. These young students have the opportunity of using the Mundo Mix PT infrastructure to exhibit and commercialise their work. Names such as, Ana Correia, Elvia Vasconcelos, Inês Vicente, Cristina Agra, Ivan Martins, Jorge Figueiredo, Josélia Carmo, Liliana Santos, Paula Martins, Penélope Lima, Ricardo Justino, Rita Afonso and Sandra Martins are some of the names that will be heard in national fashion in the future.

But Mundo Mix PT is also going to have lots of creativity and entertainment in the historical part of Cascais with the presence of over one hundred exhibitors that will present a large range of original and innovative works. Some designers have already been at past editions - at Castelo de São Jorge, in Lisbon, and at the Jardim da Constituição, in Lagos – amongst them, Os Amigos do Monstro, Atelier Jacarandá, Mary Poppy, Katsastrophic and Nadia Vieira, will once again be at the Cascais edition of Mundo Mix PT.

 On the stage of “Palco Antena 3” you will be able to see “The Poppers” (Saturday, 29th September, at 18:00) and “Dapunksportif” (Sunday, 30th September, at 18:00). But in addition to the live performances, there will also be the usual entertainment of “Cabine DJ Metro” by Xana Guerra.

And for the children that visit Mundo Mix PT, the organisation thought out a special space for them, “Mini Mix”, where they can have fun and learn at the same time. The toys workshop encourages creativity and allows the little ones to make their own things.

What is Mundo Mix PT?

Mundo Mix PT is a project that reveals New Talents in the areas of culture, fashion, music, arts and multimedia and aims at facilitating the disclosure and commercialisation of their works. It is an urban event distinguished for its originality, opening a space of quality for new products, new brands and new behaviours of a generation that is seeking its own identity. As Mundo Mix PT believes in the capacity of young national talents it wants to, above all, support the work of young designers, artists, musicians, actors and other creative areas of interest for the public.

Mundo mix PT started in Brazil in 1194 and came to Portugal in September 2003.  There have already been 16 editions in Lisbon, Oporto, Coimbra, Cascais and Lagos with some 300 thousand visitors.
