PT presents 90 job opportunities on JobFair

Portugal Telecom, sponsor of the Job Fair’s 13th edition in Lisbon, will present 90 job opportunities during this event, an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in the telecommunications sector. As major employment fair in Portugal, JobFair will take place on 17, 18 and 19 October at Fórum Picoas in Lisbon.
Targeting everyone seeking part-time or full-time professional stages, a first job, a job change, training or simple information, the Job Fair has revealed itself a success. Throughout three days, new job opportunities will be presented, namely for subsidiaries PT Comunicações, TMN, PT PRO, PT-SI, PT Inovação especially in the areas of Computer and Telecommunication Engineering, Network Installation and Maintenance, Customer Management, Information Systems and business support areas.
The Trainees and PT Academy Program, also prominent in this exhibition, will be strategic programs for the rejuvenation of professionals and acquisition of new skills.
Every year, the best young graduates from the best Portuguese universities attend this 12-month program of professional stages, attaining the retention rate of around 80%. This year, circa 150 young graduates are living this unique experience.
Being present on a market in permanent change makes companies and business areas highly adaptable to new technologies and able to constantly follow the dynamism of this sector. Therefore, the Academia PT program has been created to recruit specialised telecommunications and electronics technicians, to reinforce the teams of services installation and maintenance.
Every JobFair visitor can visit the PT Space, get to know all opportunities at close range and present an online candidacy, right there, through the Sapo Emprego (Employment) platform.
