Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Karga Mesada, Localizz, List of Authorised Contacts and Value Added Service Barring are the services included in the TMN Kid Kit: a unique concept from TMN, grouping a number of services for children from the age of six

TMN just launched a number of services for children from the age of six, to be used with any mobile phone from PT’s mobile operator. The TMN Kid Kit is a concept especially developed for youngsters.

Localizz is an innovative personal security service, allowing its customers to trace the location of their children in real time, by means of any TMN mobile phone or PC, in a simple way and avoiding the installation of any application. With this service, it becomes possible to make tracing requests via SMS, MMS messaging or the tmn i9 portal. On the PC, it is possible to manage the contact list, to trace the current and the last position of a certain mobile number, as well as its history. The first month is cost-free.

As youngster security is top priority, TMN customers may define a list on their kids’ mobile phones cost-free, with 15 authorised numbers for SMS messaging or voice calls. All other numbers will remain barred. The creation and management of the contact list can be made by calling 12045, 1696 or at www.tmn.pt.

Cost control is also a priority, especially for youngsters. Therefore, TMN provides its customers with the possibility of limiting the access to value-added and content services. Service activation can also be made via 12045, 1696 or TMN’s website.

With Karga Mesada, TMN customers may top up their kids’ mobile by means of a monthly bank transfer - between 5 and 25 Euro. You just need to call 12045 or 1696 to program Karga Mesada.

To subscribe to the TMN Kid Kit, you just need to call either 12045 or 1696, or access the TMN Kid Kit area at http://www.tmn.pt//. Through these contact points, customers may also change their contact list and activate or deactivate any service describe above.
