Disney is on Meo’s video-on-demand

The new Catalogue of Films of Disney now joins the 1000 films, series, videos and concerts on Meo’s video-on-demand. As of 22nd February, the IPTV service of Portugal Telecom offers you over 50 premierès every month
Meo is going to render available as of Friday, 22nd February, the film catalogue of Disney in its video-on-demand area. These new titles are going to join the more than 1000 films, series , videos and concerts already available.
The first Disney film to be available on Meo’s video-on-demand is “Pirates of the Caribbean, at World’s End”, the last title of the Jack Sparrow saga. In addition to Disney films, the users of this service will have some 50 new documentaries, children’s series and the most recent blockbusters and the classics every month.
The Meo Video club renders available a set of functions that afford clients a true experience of hiring videos in a more comfortable manner, amongst which:
• Immediate viewing after having hired, no need for pre-charging; • Film available for 24 hours and can be seen as many times as you want; • Possibility of watching the trailer, synopsis and cast before hiring; • Contents in High Definition and with Dolby Sound System 5.1; • Titles organised in different categories through a simple interface and with a search function; • Free contents with videos of the “Os Incorrigíveis” or the new online series “T2 for 3”; • Hiring prices vary from 0,50 to 3,50 euros.
Meo was launched in June 2007, rendering available 80 channels, of which 11 are exclusive. With a service coverage that has been gradually increasing, today it is available in all district capitals of mainland Portugal.
