As of now TMN’s Office Box customers can promote their own business on the Internet, create professional emails and develop internal communication areas in an autonomous and user-friendly way. They just need to access new servicosweb.tmn.pt platform and make their own registration.

Business promotion on the Internet

A TMN Office Box customer can now make his own business visible on the Internet, by creating his own domain (subject to availability), with hosting capacity up to 250 MB. Once the name is registered, the customer can build the website content with Sitebuilder, an intuitive and comprehensive program. If he so wishes, the customer may also use outside help for graphic conception.

Professional email address creation

To avoid the disclosure of addresses with the user’s own name, servicosweb.tmn.pt ensures a professional treatment by enabling email creation, allusive to the name of the business. Mailboxes feature a Microsoft Outlook-similar look and feel, accessible on the Internet via Outlook Web Access. Remote access to the electronic mailbox, agenda, and task and contact lists is also possible via PDA or mobile phone, with practically the same functionalities as within the office (3 Euro + VAT per work post).

Creation of internal communication area

By means of an additional web service (outside the base package, at an additional cost of 4 Euro + VAT per work post), with up to 750 MB of information, the customer may develop an Intranet to accommodate the needs of information sharing and communication of the company. The customer may define the users and which information they may access through this editable platform. This area is a very comprehensive and effective solution for the organisation of shared folders and electronic agendas, creation of announcements, internal news, contact lists, chat rooms or even opinion surveys.

Office Box is an integrated offer from PT’s various subsidiaries, including all the necessary for a company to start communicating: fixed voice, mobile voice, fixed Internet and a laptop PC as well. These components are complemented as of now by TMN’s web services.
