PT announced today announced today its first half results ended 30 June 2008, which are above market expectations. The strong operational performance in the home business should be highlighted, as TMN’s operating revenues increased by 7.2% y.o.y. PT Comunicações registered its best quarter in terms of revenues, when comparing its last twelve quarters. International businesses also brought a strong contribution to these results, by exceeding a 50% share in the operators’ revenues in the second quarter of this year.
