TMN launches prepaid Mobile Broadband
Friday, August 22, 2008
TMN has just launched the first prepaid Mobile Broadband product, Internet-ready, without monthly costs or obligatory top-ups, with which the customer only pays for what he uses. For the first time in Portugal, TMN customers will be able to access Mobile Broadband without any commitments
Focused upon the fulfilment of the needs of its customers who use mobile Internet occasionally, TMN consolidates its leadership in the broadband voice and Internet mobile communications with this launch, and contributes thus to the success of Mobile Broadband in Portugal.
It should be remembered that TMN has revolutionised the international market of mobile communications with the launch of Mimo, the first prepaid card in the world. Now, ten years after, it surprises the market once again, by launching the first Pre-pay Mobile Broadband.
Portugal Telecom’s mobile operator provides its customers with two options. With a minimum 10 Euro top-up, the customer gets access to Mobile Broadband for 10 days with a 300 MB traffic limit. After this period, the customer must top up again in order to maintain its Mobile Broadband access. For those who wish to access for a longer period of time, TMN offers the 30 Euro option, allowing a 30-day access with a 900 MB traffic limit. The access throughput is 512 kbps in both cases.
 | To enjoy this offer, it is just necessary to purchase a prepaid Broadband board for 54.90 Euro, with a 10 Euro credit and ten days of Internet navigation included. Afterwards, the mobile phone needs to be topped up in accordance with each customer’s needs.
For those who already have a TMN Broadband board, there is a prepaid card available, which costs 14.90 Euro and includes a 10 Euro credit and ten days of Internet navigation. Learn more here.
