Localizz TMN: an innovative service

‘Localizz’ is the name of the new service rolled out by TMN, enabling customers to share their location and find out the location of children, relatives, friends or other people included in a list of locatable contacts, in real time. This innovative personal security service is available for any mobile phone and in roaming as well
The aim of TMN’s new service is to ensure the security of all those who are important. Dubbed ‘Localiz’, it is an innovative personal security solution enabling the real time location of third parties.
TMN intends to take the maximum advantage of the mobile phone’s versatility and offer valuable and useful services to his customers. With this innovation, it becomes possible to locate and find out the whereabouts of children, relatives, friends or other people included in the list of locatable contacts allowed by this service, in real time.
Available on any mobile phone and in roaming as well, ‘Localiz’ allows the location of mobile phones carriers included in the list of locatable contacts, via mobile phone and also via internet, when and where requested. This is a service compatible with every TMN mobile phone model and excludes any installation or application. Nevertheless, only mobile phones allowed by the respective owners may be located, as all privacy-related issues are guaranteed.
It is only necessary to access the tmn i9 portal via mobile phone, select option ‘Localiz’ and locate a phone number included in the list. It is also possible to make location requests via mobile phone by SMS (0.15 cent) and MMS (0.39 cent) for the contact list already created or exceptionally for a number not included in the list. Through the PC, among other tasks, it is possible to make a more complete management of the contact list, locate the current and the latest position of a certain contact as well as its history.
‘Localizz’ has a monthly 1.99 Euro fee on top of 1.49 Euro for each terminal included in the list of contacts to be located. This monthly fee includes five free location requests per month, plus five requests for each mobile phone in the location list.
