The television of the future – Meo – celebrates the World Children’s Day with the exclusive launch of an internationally recognised TV show called ‘Exemplary Stories’, the episodes including sign language, being also available in plain spoken version. This animation show covers education and citizenship issues, aiming to transmit quality examples and key values, and seeks to become a reference for both kids and grown-ups.
Moreover, until next 2 June, the younger public will enjoy a 50% discount on several movies from the Meo VideoClub, including blockbusters such as ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘Shrek’, among others.
Still marking the day dedicated to the younger generation, Meo promotes a number of live actions with children, namely in association with Jim Jam channel, which will arrange a number of meetings with famous ‘Bob the Builder’ as of today
Meo provides since April an area aggregating all content for children – meo kids –, for children aged between 4 and 10 years, supplied by partners specialised in content for kids, such as Sapo Kids, Texto Editores, Panda Channel, Lisbon Children’s Theatre, among others. Meo kids stands out for its especially designed interface for children and two areas for two distinct audiences: from 4 to 6 years old (meo kiddy) and from 7 to 10 years old (meo kids). In these spaces, it will be possible to find adapted content on the VideoClub, Music, Sports, Discovery and Games.
