As of today, 23 January, you can access the new channel Family – Parents’ Guide. This new website is a reformulation of the Baby channel, the leading channel on the Internet in the last 13 years in terms of information about babies and children in Portugal. Launched by the SAPO portal, you will be able to find all the information about this matter at http://familia.sapo.pt.

Positioning itself as a more comprehensive channel, SAPO family aims to accompany parents in the education of their children, from pregnancy planning up to adolescence. On this space, there is information available about pregnancy planning, gestation phases, the very first days, children’s development stages, health and safety, education and relationship with the children, sexuality, tests and recipes.

Stageletter: an innovative service in Portugal

The stageletter is also available at http://familia.sapo.pt/. This is a new email service that informs the pregnant woman about all changes that she and her baby will go through during the time of the gestation. Each stageletter describes the growth of the foetus in that particular week, illustrates its growth and appearance and explains what will be changing in the life of the pregnant woman during that period. This service will continue weekly over the first year of life of the baby, in the various aspects of its development.

The partnerships established with the leading publications in this segment, allow SAPO Family users to find the best articles of magazines “Pais & Filhos”, “Bebé Saúde”, “Mãe Ideal”, “Coisas de Criança”, “Mamã, Papá & Eu” and “Saber Viver” online.
