New version of Sapo TV

The SAPO portal reinforces its TV news content as it launches a new version of Sapo TV that features a new modern and attractive layout.
The leading portal in Portugal in terms of audience just launched a new version of Sapo TV, a service that was presented for the first time in September 2005, now gaining a new attractive and modern layout to be seen at http://tv.sapo.pt/ with two new areas full of interest: ‘TV People’ and ‘Meo recommends’.
In the new ‘TV People’ area, Sapo TV displays the most recent headlines, images and interviews of the most well-known faces of television in Portugal, enabling the fans of the TV stars to follow step by step each new event in their careers.
In the new version of Sapo TV, highlight also goes to a new area called ‘Meo recommends’ where several programs to be watched on Meo, PT’s television service, are recommended.
Apart from the programming with circa 120 television channels, Sapo TV now enables its users to define their own list of favourite channels, making the programming grids more intuitive and interactive.
With this new positioning, Sapo TV became the site on the Internet containing the most detailed and up-to-date information on television programming.
