Contemporary art with Portugal Telecom

The PT Foundation will take the works of Portugal Telecom’s Contemporary Art Collection to the Alcochete Art Forum.

This exhibition will be open to the public from 16 April to 31 July 2010, containing twenty works from Portuguese contemporary plastic artists.

The exhibition contains works from the following artists: António Palolo, Alice Geirinhas, Gaetan, João Tabarra, Joana Rosa, João Vieira, João Pedro Vale, Joaquim Bravo, Joaquim Rodrigo, Lourdes Castro, Manuel João Vieira, Martinha Maia, Miguel Soares, Paula Rego, Pedro Cabral Santo, Pedro Portugal and Pedro Proença.

This exhibition is the result from a partnership between the Portugal Telecom Foundation and the Municipality of Alcochete, being the 5th exhibition of PT’s Contemporary Art Collection, which contains 160 works by Portuguese artists.

This initiative is part of a policy of itinerancy adopted by the PT Foundation, which has taken several works to different regions of the country, thus increasing the culture offer and promoting the sharing of this artistic heritage with different publics. It is worth mentioning that the previous exhibitions have occurred in Abrantes, Aveiro, Évora, and Ponta Delgada.

Come and visit this exhibition. The Alcochete Culture Forum is open to the public from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, Mondays – Fridays, and 3 PM to 6 PM on Saturdays.
