TMN just launched the Car Control service that allows real-time location via mobile phone or internet and remote blocking of your vehicle. Easy to use, quick to inform and to act, Car Control is supported by a security call centre – 808 25 35 45 –, available 24 hours per day and features the following functionalities:

• Car Location – possibility of locating one’s own car in real time, via mobile phone or Internet, by GPS, by means of the TMN or radio-frequency networks; 
• Car Blocking – possibility of inhibiting the ignition of the vehicle, in case of theft or other emergency situations;
• Car Alarm Button – possibility of pushing an alarm button inside the vehicle to activate an alert signal in emergency situations (accident for example) to the security call centre;
• Alarm Reception – possibility of receiving alarms, via text messages or the internet, whenever there is an attempt to steal the vehicle or deactivate the Car Control mechanism;
• Security service – possibility of contacting a telephone support line, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week that locates and blocks the vehicle, besides promoting the articulation with the police authorities to recover the vehicle.

TMN’s new service has two modes of subscription. The Car Control Base mode is available for €9.99 per month (+ €139.99 – equipment plus car installation), the location is obtained through TMN’s mobile network and by radio frequency. In the second mode – Car Control Plus –, for €11.99 per month (+ €234.90 – equipment plus car installation), the location is obtained by GPS, allowing a greater detail, and by radio frequency. In this latest mode, the location service on TMN’s mobile network is also included in areas without GPS coverage.

With this launch, TMN diversifies and consolidates its service offer oriented to the security area, enabling its more than seven million customers to enjoy mobility solutions provided by TMN mobile phones.
