Taking into consideration the fast and enthusiastic growth of the female community on the Internet, the Sapo Moçambique portal just presented a new, innovative and modern space, featuring modern and dynamic graphics whose aim is to stimulate the growth of the virtual female community and put Mozambican women at the centre of digital revolution.
Sapo Woman bets on local content, valuing Mozambican culture and showing for example how the ‘capulana’ (traditional dress), Blackwood-based bijouterie, turtle skin or coconut shells make the Mozambican woman unique to the eyes of the world. Interviews, videos, reportages are also part of this project whose focus is the Mozambican woman.
This website will also have the support from Mozambican partners for content provision, namely from 'Folha Verde Noivas e Evento’ magazine as well as columnists of reference in the female world such as Anabela Adrianapoulos who will make regular contributions to Sapo Woman.

Sapo Woman bets on transversal navigation together with other channels of the portal such as Tastes, Movies and Astrology, extending the offer to the modern woman who enjoys being informed and up-to-date, making the Internet an indispensable tool.
From Fashion and Beauty, Nutrition and Women’s Health, to Decoration, Design and Today’s News, Humour and Entertainment, there are countless themes highlighted, always presented with intuitive and interactive surfing.
It is worth recollecting that www.sapo.mz was launched on 20 January 2009 with full support from the founding Members MCEL, TDM, Millennium, BIM, BCI, Visabeira, and Listas Telefónicas in partnership with local media such as Soico Group, Radio Mozambique, Savana newspaper, Mozambique TV, Notícias newspaper and AIM.
