The ‘PT with School Sport’ project keeps promoting sport for the younger generation and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. To celebrate the start of the new school year, Portugal Telecom considers its support for sport as one pillar of its strategy of commitment and involvement with society, either through its support for football by sponsoring the Portugal Squad, and Porto, Benfica and Sporting teams as well as other disciplines such as surf, tennis, sailing, car racing, supporting young promises of national sport.
This way, for the third consecutive year, PT’s Ambassadors will go back to the schools. On next 24 September at 10:15 AM, the students of the 3rd cycle of the Group of Schools of Baguim will get acquainted with this icon of world football. PT’s Ambassador for School Sport Vítor Baía will present his own experience as professional athlete and the way how sport changed his life and his way of seeing the world.
School is one of the pillars of the entire learning and growth process and, in this context, School Sport is decisive for this learning, helping the younger generation to build their future in a balanced way, sending warnings and awareness signs caused by the various problems faced by youngsters in society.
