The codes of conduct and rules adopted by PT are meant to guide employee attitude in compliance with the organisation and the relationship that they establish with shareholders, legal and regulatory bodies, competitors, customers, suppliers and society at large. Rigour, honesty, integrity, information transparency and accuracy, anti-corruption, equality of opportunities, environment preservation and social responsibility are the principles that we defend and that we daily promote and follow.

The Codes of Ethics and conduct comply entirely with all the legislation and legal rules in force, be them Portuguese, European or American and is extended to employees and suppliers of the company.

Any detected and confirmed violation to the Codes of Conduct, internal regulations or legislation in force, is liable to a procedure of identification of the responsibility of infractors in compliance with the legal terms and rules applicable to the situation.
