Total direct and indirect emissions of greenhouse gases, by weight
PT’s CO2 emissions were reduced once again by 7% as compared to 2009, in spite of the increase in energy consumption. This reduction is due to the fact that the consumption reduction policy continued and simultaneously the used electric energy sources incorporated a significant portion of renewable energies.
