In view of the current public health scenario, always in close and permanent dialogue with the General Health Directorate (DGS) and other entities, Altice Portugal intensified its Contingency Plan with new measures and preventive actions in order to ensure safe and secure health care conditions to its employees and customers, on a continuous and permanent basis, ensuring the continuity of the business and services provided by Altice Portugal companies.
Implementation of rotating shifts between teleworking teams, and whenever the job allow it, with a view to preserving the health of employees and ensuring business continuity.
Teleworking capacity for 4,000 workers, and the need to expand this can be assessed.
Maintenance of remuneration and work insurance policy for teleworkers.
Implementation of immediate ruling to allow teleworking for employees belonging to groups considered to be most vulnerable due to low immunity (current cancer patients, previously identified chronically ill patients) and pregnant employees.
Creation of COVID-19 Pivots, to operationalize the different measures in force in the Contingency Plan of Altice Portugal.
Increased distance between workstations at Altice Portugal.
Opening of doors for access to corridors, elevators, fire escapes and other places of great footfall.

Implementation of the Crisis Operations Office with the definition of an essential Minimum Service Plan to be triggered as soon as it is justified, for replacement and activation of services, technical and non-technical support, commercial and administrative activities, and complementary activities.
Strengthening of the Health at Work team of Altice Healthcare, namely with the integration of new specialist doctors for the current context.
Postponement of public company events.
Suspension of travel abroad or within the country.
Reduction, to the strictly essential, of the participation of the Altice Portugal Management Team in public initiatives and external meetings.
It is completely inadvisable to hold meetings with elements external to the company, and/or at the Altice Portugal facilities, the use of electronic means of communication as an alternative is recommended.
Reinforcement of the supply of disinfectant gel and hospital masks in MEO buildings and stores.

Replacement of all headsets at Altice Portugal's service centers, with the assignment of a new headset to each employee.

Specific measures for Field Technicians
Availability and use of protection kits with alcoholic solution.
Conducting preventive questions to the client/company before scheduling.
Implementation of prevention procedures such as: 1 meter distance from the client; use of a specific command or the MEO remote App on the premises, avoid physical contact when complying; or, at the end of the installation, ask the customer for authorization to wash hands.
Integration of all MEO TV channels in the MEO Go service at no additional cost, allowing access to different channels on multiple screens, indoors.
Offer of 10GB of mobile data to private and business customers, as well as the monthly offer of Sport TV, BTV and Eleven Sports channels (a market initiative).
Altice Portugal reinforces the fact, in order not to create internal or external social alarm, it has not identified at the moment any case of contagion within the company. Altice Portugal will strictly maintain its Contingency Plan, following the evolution of the situation, as well as communicating new measures that may be adopted in the defense and protection of its employees, partners, customers and suppliers and strictly in line with public interest.
