The impacts of COVID-19 are already evident in the lives of the Portuguese people. In order to minimize them and help the population, MEO, together with operators NOS and Vodafone, announces the offer of 10GB of mobile data and the monthly fee for Sport TV, BTV and Eleven Sports channels.
COVID-19 is a virus that prevents contact, but Altice Portugal, through MEO, tries to get close to people as safely as possible. For this reason, it has decided to offer its customers 10GB of mobile telephone service data, an offer that can be subscribed to between 17th and 31st March.
This is a measure that was also adopted by NOS and Vodafone, encompassing both private and business customers. The subscription of the offer can be made through the My MEO app or through the website, being valid for a period of 30 days from the subscription date.
At the same time, the three operators also decided, together with Sport TV, BTV and Eleven Sports, not to charge the monthly fee to new and current customers who want to watch these channels. This measure is in effect during the exceptional period of suspension of most sporting events.
These offers are intended to help the Portuguese population to comply with COVID-19's prevention and infection control measures, facilitating their teleworking, prevention or assistance to family members.
