Today Altice Portugal holds the first meeting of its Sustainability Committee, a new body created with the aim of promoting actions and initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and the development of the country's economic and social cohesion.
The main objectives of this committee from today forwards are creating a culture of sustainability in the company, publicizing Altice Portugal's sustainability strategy and involving employees to actively contribute to this objective. This meeting, which will be chaired by Alexandre Fonseca, Executive President of Altice Portugal, will be attended by João Zúquete da Silva, Chief Corporate Officer, and coordinator of the Sustainability Committee, as well as numerous figures from the company's different management areas.
In addition to the Consultative Council for Industrial Relations, the Sustainability Committee will also be joined by external entities and personalities from civil society with the aim of making their contribution towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.
