As a priority for Altice Portugal and one of its strategic axes, sustainability plays a fundamental role in the company's activities, through the implementation and support of actions and initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
Thus seeking to help contribute, through its value chain and in line with the principles of sustainability, to the social and economic progress of our country, Altice Portugal now presents itself as a technological partner of Greenfest, the most representative sustainability movement in the country.
Once again, and in line with the strategy it has been adopting in terms of proximity, sustainability and commitment to the culture of our country, Altice Portugal supports this initiative, ensuring the connectivity of the event from the 25th to the 27th of September in Braga (Tibães Monastery) and from the 20th to the 22nd of November in Estoril (Nova SBE).
Altice Portugal, fully aware of the impact of this event for the country and because of its focus on sustainability as a critical topic for our future, had to stand alongside those who are making a herculean effort to keep the country moving, especially in the troubled times that the country is experiencing.
For Alexandre Fonseca, Executive President of Altice Portugal, “Altice Portugal's association with this initiative reinforces its strategy of action, in the areas of social responsibility and sustainability, seeking to contribute to the improvement of life, safety and well-being of the Portuguese people. Combining technology with social responsibility, both at an environmental level and at a sustainability level, this is another of Altice Portugal's contributions as an essential technological partner for the development of the country and for the benefit of the Portuguese people. »
Pedro Norton de Matos, Mentor of Greenfest, «Greenfest is 13 years old and this year, for the first time, it combines face-to-face with digital. This new dimension was made possible by the technological partnership with the Altice group that shares the same vision. Anywhere in the Tibães Monastery museum space, including gardens and leafy woods, you have robust and reliable internet access. We believe that the hybrid model is the new normal, as it has a much greater reach and impact on communities, with a minimal ecological footprint. »
Begun in 2008, Greenfest is the most representative sustainability movement in the country which celebrates the best work being done in the four aspects of sustainability: environmental, social, economic and cultural by bringing together a panel of inspiring people, innovative ideas and projects that are making a difference.
