Altice Portugal signs manifesto “For an agreement for nature at COP15”

Altice Portugal joined more than 60 member companies of BCSD Portugal, in a manifesto entitled “For an agreement for nature” which calls for the COP15 on Biodiversity to be a turning point for the recognition of the importance of nature for the world economy.

The main objective of the United Nations COP15 on Biodiversity is the adoption of a Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Strategy, to stop the global loss of biodiversity by 2030 and promote the recovery of natural ecosystems, forcing the active convergence of all: sector public, private sector, academia, civil society and each of us individually.

By signing this manifesto, Altice Portugal and associated companies are contributing to a collective awareness of the importance of biodiversity, through sharing good practices and building positive partnerships, while establishing objective action plans and adopting risk reporting systems, aligned with the valuing natural capital.

It should be remembered that Altice Portugal is also part of the 82 companies and organizations signatories of the manifesto “Towards COP26”, promoted by BCSD Portugal, which aims to stop climate change.
