MEO increases employee’s awareness of Human Rights

Committed to making the Portuguese aware of Human Rights, MEO, in partnership with Amnesty International, developed the campaign "We don't forget Human Rights", which is intended to raise funds for workers in Qatar. Also, at the MEO store in Picoas, shopkeepers wore yellow t-shirts referring to the campaign to raise awareness among MEO customers and society in general about this issue.

To reinforce the same message among Altice Portugal employees, MEO developed a “Humanize yourself” Advent Calendar which, in addition to the usual chocolates, reminded them of the 24 articles of the Declaration of Human Rights.

At the Altice Portugal Headquarters Building in Picoas, the distribution of calendars to employees took place last Wednesday, December 7th, and was supported by members of the Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of Disabled Citizens Mental (APPACDM) Lisbon.

Since humanization is one of its pillars, MEO thus reinforces its commitment, as a brand of causes, in the defense of humanist values, through yet another Internal Social Responsibility action.
