Solidarity Race brings together about a thousand people in Figueira da Foz

June 4th was marked by the return of the Altice Solidarity Race. After a two-year break, it is in Figueira da Foz that this sporting adventure continues. Close to a thousand people, including employees, family members, partners, friends, and guests of Altice, gathered at Praça Sr. João Ataíde in a party, reunion, and union atmosphere where solidarity was not forgotten.

This was a solidarity event, which will support Casa do Artista, a private social solidarity institution that provides services to elderly artists, with technological equipment. Founded on September 11th, 1999, by a group of actors, Casa do Artista is dedicated to the protection of all those who have given their lives to the performing arts, from cinema to theatre, radio, and television.

As in 2019, the Olympic champion, Rosa Mota, was once again the godmother of this race, which was attended by the Co-CEOs of Altice Europe, Alexandre Fonseca, the Executive President of Altice Portugal, Ana Figueiredo, the president of the Municipality of Figueira da Foz, Pedro Santana Lopes, in addition to other board members, and the actor José Raposo, representing Casa do Artista, among other personalities.

The 3rd Altice Solidarity Race had two courses along the beaches of Figueira da Foz, with a 10 km run and a 5 km walk, aimed at employees, family, and friends of Altice Portugal, who gathered in a party atmosphere, promoting well-being and socializing among all participants and encouraging the practice of physical activity, as well as reinforcing commitment to intervention and social responsibility.
